Jimmy`s Egg in San Antonio

Food was a little expensive. I can't remember the price I paid for a "Large" orange juice but there was nothing large about it. Food was good but nothing memorable. If I do go back it wont be for a while.

Just a quick breakfast to enjoy with my youngest. The experience was perfect. Great staff, great management, great food. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was for the sticky bathroom floor. No other complaints.

The breakfast is fantastic. The greeter not so much. She would not let us sit in a clearly available booth.

Been having to go to the medical center just down the road a lot lately and Jimmy's Egg quickly became the only breakfast spot I eat at after my appointments. With great food and good service any time I'm around here I'm stop in to fill my tummy.

It was our first time at this location for breakfast. There was not a long wait so we were able to sit down right away. Service was good for our first time being at this location. We ordered the two meat combo for breakfast wish was to eggs your style 2 choices of breakfast bacon, sausage or ham and we ordered hash browns and I order of short stack pancake and the wife order the toast bread. We had coffee and water and every few minutes the waitress or waiter will come by and refill our coffee, and I'm a big coffee drinker so I did like that they kept coming by to refill my cup of coffee. When they brought our order out, wish it did not take a long time to get our order out to us our plates look delicious . The breakfast that we had ordered was delicious and the service that we got this visit was great. And yes I will stop again and have breakfast at this location no doubt about that.

Coffee tasted horrible, place was empty, food was horrible, but waitress was nice, she gets the two stars.

Food is good. Coffee is good. Good selection of food, especially flavor of pancakes. Clean and relaxing restaurant with quick service. No wait for a Saturday at 1200. Comfortable seating. In a good neighborhood and right off the road (easy to find). It was nice the manager checked on us as well. Definitely recommend!

How not to love this place? They specialize in breakfast. Everything is tasty and they serve abundantly. I live how staff is always welcoming and can help you decide what to eat when your are doubtful

Great price for amount of food

Best breakfast in the medical center! So me and my fellow RN Students brought a group of 7 to have breakfast while we waited to go to clinical. We got the private meeting room which had its own TV, we also had access to WiFi! Our waiter was named Augustine, and he was attentive and quick to fill our coffee cups 10/10 service. We were all very satisfied with our delicious breakfast.

Not one of their better looking locations and not great service. Try a different location if you can

This is the third time we've came here and that makes it strike three. First the restaurant is very understaffed. Coffee was warm like the last time, my sausage and bacon were burnt, they were really tardy with my girlfriend's toast. This restaurant needs to get their act together till than it looks Jims is the place to be....

Breakfast is my favorite meal and I go to a lot of breakfast resturants. The menu is plentiful, the meal was delicious, and the staff was friendly. Definitely check this place out if you're near by.

Oh my goodness food was amazing. Very friendly staff, very clean local and did I mention the food was amazing. I had the meat lovers hashbrown skillet and my son had the ultimate combo breakfast with cinnamon roll pancakes. If you haven't been here you need to get here asap!!!

GET THE BREAKFAST BURGER You deserve to blow each and every individual tastebuds mind and break the scale of what ungodly deliciousness tastes like. You can even reheat and worship the remains in the comfort of your home. Absolutely amazing.

Food was good but the host was not. Very un professional she looked like she just woke up. No smile no mothing she really looked like she didn't want to be there. She gives a bad appearance to the place. They should've sent her home or told her to brush her hair and wash her face! ! Her attitude was bad. This was at SA the location on babcock.

Unbelievable worse service ever. Requested coffee refill, had to wait 30min after asking another waiter for it. Waited an 1 1/2 for our order, due to 2 new cooks and waitress. Me "no excuse". We left hungry.

The food was excellent, however all the food didn't make it out at the same time. The manager (maybe owner?) Seemed to be taking every single server aside every time they walked near him. Which seemed to cause alot of delay and errors... But food was great!

Always order pick up and they are fantastic. Victor and the rest of the morning crew are courteous, fast, and super helpful. Thats why I keep coming back. I've also sat down and ate there with the same wonderful service. Keep up the good work.

Yummy food ,great stuff . We love Jimmy's egg

This was my first time here and my food came out cold. I sent it back and the second plate was not much better.

Craving a little variety in our breakfast other than the usual breakfast tacos, we made a return visit here. The owner happened to be in and the waitresses were extra busy bees. The coffee was good with refill service a little spotty. Ordered the Eggs Benedict with sausage patties instead of ham and hash browns to accompany. The eggs were served hot, but the potatoes must have had to wait on the eggs as they were just barely warm and soon cold. The country skillet my wife had with eggs, bacon sausage and a biscuit with cream gravy was very good after the hard biscuits were switched out for some fresh ones.I still like the place, but it seems there is always a minor hitch in food or service (as cited above). The prices are good and the offerings of usual favorites along with some innovative selections makes for an interesting menu and a good breakfast. Someday will try them for lunch.

Great food at a reasonable price friendly staff

The fried egg burgers are awesome with curly fries and a side of biscuits n gravy! Victor is a very attentive waiter! If you love diners, you'll love JC's Cafe, formerly Jimmy's Egg!

I love this place! Customer service is ALWAYS impeccable and the food is delicious. The manager definitely leads by example and was the first and last person we spoke to while dining there. AMAZING!!

This place is a joke. Show up to a half full resturaunt and wait over half an hour with no food showing up. Come to find out overhearing other unhappy patrons that they've been waiting an hour or more for their food. The place wasn't that busy for a Sunday at 10:30. Paid for our orange juice (almost $7 for two) and walked out. Don't waste your time on this place and go to Magnolia or Jim's.

Viktor did a great job taking care of us and the food was excellent.
